Client wants to limit categories displayed on different pages

    The client for the store in question wants to limit the categories shown in the shopping page filter depending on the category chosen. This particularly has to do with choosing a new page from the main menu.

    Example: The menu shows categories : Rugs, Carpets, Flooring, Vinyl, etc. and opens into that page when clicked.

    If a visitor clicks on the “Rugs” dropdown from the menu, the client wants ONLY the rugs and subcategories to be available on the following page, they do not want there to be other categories showing. How can we do this?

    You may try https://prnt.sc/RQav94St8ecn , or activate “Advanced Mode For The Product Categories Widget” (Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop elements > Categories). If this is not what you are looking for, then the desired result requests additional customization in files, that are outside the scope of our basic support, sorry.
