I just updated my staging site from Royal Theme version 6.4.6 to 6.4.7 and I immediately got an automated email from WordPress saying that there is a technical problem on the site. More information in the private content area.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello, Kultakuume,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access?

To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Best Regards,

    Hello,

Please see the private content area. Note, that the issue occured on the staging site where I was testing new updates. The production site is not updated yet.

Additional consideration: I did not have the site in maintenance mode when I deleted the old theme directory and uploaded the new directory. Could the few seconds when there was no theme directory trigger the error message that I received?

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello, Kultakuume,

We have thoroughly investigated the issue you reported and found no apparent causes that could have led to the error. The essence of the problem seems to be that WordPress is attempting to connect to a file that does not exist. However, we have verified that the file does indeed exist. This situation may occur if you were accessing site pages during an update process, precisely at the moment when the relevant file had not yet been uploaded.

Should this problem reoccur outside of an update period, please do not hesitate to inform us.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

Thank you. I installed the new version in production, and I have not received an error message. I think this issue is solved.
